Kanab Homes for Sale is committed to making kanabhomesforsale.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which are widely used to measure accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What we have done
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen reader users
- Clear, visible focus outlines so keyboard users can see where they are on the page
- Page zoom and pinch-to-zoom enabled on phones and tablets
- Text and buttons designed to meet WCAG color contrast requirements
- A logical heading structure and labeled page regions so assistive technology can navigate each page
- Text alternatives for logos and listing photos
- Labels on form fields, including the Home Valuation form
- A pause button on the homepage background video, which pauses automatically if your device is set to reduce motion
- A layout that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktop screens
We tested key pages with automated accessibility tools and by navigating with a keyboard.
Known limitations
Property listing descriptions and photos come from third-party listing sources. Some photos may have only general descriptions, and some listing details may use abbreviations from those sources. Older content may not yet meet every guideline. We are working to improve these areas.
